(FOREST, ON) An individual has been charged with impaired operation following a collision in the Town of Forest.
On April 26, 2025, at approximately 12:25 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single-vehicle collision after the vehicle struck a pole at the intersection of Queen Street and James Street in the Town of Forest.
Minor injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, Adam GAUDET, 39-year-old of Forest, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Drivers License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Sarnia on June 23, 2025.
